Open Access Lifeline Hosts Cannulation Crossroads

On Tuesday, February 4th, Open Access Lifeline together with the ANNA South Flamingo Chapter hosted its first-ever Cannulation Crossroads educational event. The program, an interactive vascular access workshop designed especially for dialysis caregivers featured four interactive learning stations including physical assessment of the vascular access, fistula maturation and cannulation, cannulation of the complicated access and access complications affecting buttonholes.
